About

Mask Bloc DC organizes for COVID safety and disability justice on stolen Piscataway land¹ (the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area). We redistribute high-quality masks and rapid tests, and combat misinformation about the ongoing pandemic. We are building a network of support that keeps our communities safer from COVID-19. Our group is founded on the following beliefs:

• COVID isn't over. We are living through an ongoing mass-death & disabling event resulting from the eugenicist policies of local and national governments and profit-driven corporate practices.
• We have a responsibility to one another, and we refuse to leave anyone behind. We will not withhold mutual aid based on means testing or personal COVID mitigation practices.
• Everyone deserves access to clean air and the tools to protect themselves and others from infection, including high quality masks and testing.
• The struggles against imperialism, colonialism, racial capitalism, white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, eugenics, fascism, and ableism are interconnected.Liberation means we all get free.
